Special Wishes ...

Today I have Tilda from the latest release 'Sweet Crazy Love' which was amongst my Christmas goodies!
I decided to go Cadbury purple, maybe I was thinking of chocolate at the time which would
explain the chocolate ribbon!  Very Spring like and makes a pleasant change from Christmas cards.
---
Papers are from Papermania which I won as part of my prize for coming second in the NCY2010.
Wild orchid crafts flowers, MS punch, MS border punch, Doohickey lace.
TH distress inks and coloured with a combination of Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
Cheesecloth, Memory Box bird cage and the sentiment is CG.
Pearls and buttons from my stash

Have a wonderful week, Jane x

A Spoonful of Sugar ...

What do I have for my fabulous followers today, well I absolutely adore this stamp from LOTV,
it is just delightful for all ages, so I decided to have a play.
I have got plenty of other cards to be making but sometimes I need to be in the mood!
---
I have decoupaged the image for extra impact.
I have coloured in Promakers with my dot style as usual.
Backing paper is again from the Forever Friends Spring Time collection.
The red paper was a freebie if I remember from a
magazine many moons ago from the depths of my paper stash!
The sentiment is CG, plenty of hand stitching.  Real plasters and some cheesecloth for the
bandage attached with a safety pin.

Have a good week, happy crafting

House Mouse Baby Boy (Joanna Sheen DT Card) ...

Today we are at the half way mark for the
Joanna Sheen Challenge this month which is
I have once again used this cute little House Mouse stamp  and the sentiment
included in the stamp sheet too!
I made a baby girl card first time round with this stamp so it was only fair
I made a little boy too, sooo cute and a delight to colour.
---
I have made a little felt heart by hand with some bells and a safety pin charm.
The stripe paper is from the Forever Friends Spring Time collection.  I have used some
Kraft card which has been embossed with the Swiss Dots folder, of course some hand stitching, buttons and  pearls.  The lace corners have been made using the Doohickey Tilda Lace Die.
---

Ur the best! ...

Today I have another image from the Pretty Tuff cd-rom and I think this image is my
favourite of them all!  I have followed the sketch over at the 'Here come the boys blog' challenge
this month something I have never done before but I am pleased with the results.
----
Backing paper from the same cd, some kraft card and some coredinations.
A little bit of twine and a star charm, a couple of polka dot buttons (turned over just as I wanted black)!
I have coloured the image with just Promarkers in my usual dotty style.
The sentiment is from the set as before.

To an awesome dude ...

Today I have been playing with my new Polka Doodles CD called Pretty Tuff
which is fabulous for the men/boys in our lives.  I was inspired by one of my favourite songs by
Bruno Mars 'The Lazy Song' which I quite happily sing badly changing lyrics
to suit my teenagers.
---
Papers and digi from the cd, Papermania silver clips, stars and pearls from my stash.  The black
rubber cord has been recycled from somewhere! Plenty of hand stitching, TH distress inks.
There are plenty of fab sentiments on the cd rom but I have used  a stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps
which I purchased as part of a set so I am not sure whether it is still available, sorry.
---
I am entering this card in the following challenges -
Passion for Promakers - Inspired by a Song
Ladybug Crafts - Anything Goes/New Stash
Dream Valley Challenges - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Spots and Stripes
Truly Madly Crafty - Anything Goes

Thanks a Bunch ...

Today I have one of the new gorgeous Tildas' this one is called
'Tilda with Peony Tails', isn't she adorable.
A new year and something different for me, I have used a 6x6 card blank for the first time,
wow living on the edge or what!!!!!
The reason, well I asked Santa for the gorgeous Pixie Glen papers which are 6x6
and they are just too lush to be cut into.  Sometimes I also find I just don't have enough room
for all the embellishments.
I have also used my new Memory Box Bird Cage die.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges -

Wishing all my followers old and new a very Happy, Healthy & Crafty New Year
Take care, Jane x

House Mouse Baby Girl (Joanna Sheen DT card) ...

Time for a new challenge over on the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog and for the
month of January it is 'Celebrations' so another nice and easy one.
It can be from a birth as I have done, maybe Christening, Engagement, Wedding, Birthday,
Easter, Valentines, Driving Test or Friendship to name but a few.
---
I have used the gorgeous House Mouse Stamp set called 'Cosy Toes' and coloured
simply with Promarkers. With baby cards I like to go clean and simple and this one is no exception.
I have made some bespoke buttons too and hopefully you can make out they say 'baby girl' on them!
Some pink gingham backing paper, hand stitched, pearls and ribbon from my stash.
Some felt flowers and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
My favourite die at the mo (until I use my new ones) is the lace Doohickey die by Magnolia.
---
Make sure you enter a card in the Joanna Sheen challenge this month for a chance to win a fabulous prize.
You don't need a blog to enter either, you can enter HERE
We also have weekly blog candy which is open to non-blog holders too, so what are you waiting for?

Take care, happy crafting 2012, Jane x
