Dandelion Clock ...

Today I have this gorgeous little girl from Lili of the Valley, I purchased her on launch along with several others as I just love their range.  Haven't had much time to play with them but I know I won't be disappointed. I chose a simple layout for this one so that the focus remained on the little girl and I thought the sentiment also from LOTV was just perfect.  As a little girl myself (along time ago now)! I used to pick the dandelions and blow them to tell the time, those were the days.
---
Still loving the Kraft card so I have used it again for my base along with papers from the Forever Friends Spring Time range, all hand stitched.  Craftwork Cards smooth cardstock again, coloured with Promakers and Stickles to highlight the little ones wings.  Flowers are Prima Country Elegance finished with some of those little glass drops, can't remember the name or where I purchased them from, sorry.  Finally a few Papermania gems to finish off.

Thanks for staying will me, take care love Jane x

Toby Tumbles Birthday ...

Sorry I haven't posted for a few weeks, I don't know where the time goes sometimes.  I have been working on a couple of cards over this time but I can't show the results just yet so I thought I would show you a card I made for a friends birthday earlier this week.  I  used Toby Tumble again as I think he works for both male and female occasions and I really enjoyed colouring him in too!
---
Right onto the items I have used, well Kraft card for the base and Cuddly Buddly digi Toby.  Craftwork Cards smooth cardstock and sentiment.  MS Cherish punch for the border finished with some thread and a button.  Papermania gems for the corners and some Stickles for the bee trail. Backing paper stripes and border polka dots are both from Polka Doodles Sundae of Seasons.

Thanks for popping by even though I have been a naughty blogger and not posted I really appreciate your time and comments, thank you.
Carry on crafting, love Jane x

It's Easter egg hunt time ....

Another Forever Friends Easter card as promised.  I have gone for the same style as before and just used another image from the Spring Time collection.
---
Again the same square card blank, Spring Time backing paper and Kraft cardstock using the same Martha Stewart border punch.  Image stamped as before and coloured using Promarkers once again.  Silver heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamps collection.  Blue ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts and two little blue pearls to finish.

Be back soon, love Jane x

Some bunny loves you ...

Today I have another Easter card from the Forever Friends Spring Time collection, just loving these little cuties.  Only had one play with my new Sew Easy tool I spoke about on my last post and although it did what it said on the tin I didn't like it enough, so more playing me thinks.  Stayed up and ordered some of the new LOTV stamps on Tuesday and as I type this I know some of you lucky peeps have received your goodies already so I am hoping mine will be here for the weekend?
---
Onto the ingredients, I have had some questions about my last Easter Forever Friends card and the Promarker colours I have used.  Thanks so much for your lovely comments especially on my colouring, I think I am getting the hang of them in my own style, my preference on these little cuties is dotting!
Promarkers used -
Cool grey 1 for the shadowing, bunny ears and ducks
Pastel yellow for the little ducky feet
Blossom for the paws, bunny ears and the heart pearls
Blush for the cheeks of bear and ducks
Vanilla for the base, followed by Oatmeal and then Sandstone
---
Anitas square card blank for the base, a sheet of the Spring Time papers and some brown Kraft card.  The image this time has been stamped with Momento onto Craftwork Cards smooth cardstock and then handstitched.  The sentiment is also from the stamp range which I have heat embossed silver and the three little hearts were pearls that I have coloured using my Promarkers.  Ooops nearly forgot I have used the Cherish Martha Stewart punch around the page punch (thats a mouth full) for the borders.
---
Thanks once again for all your lovely comments and I will  have another little cutie before the week is out so please pop by and say 'Hi'
Take care, love Jane x

Easter Wishes ....

I know "Easter" I hear you cry, has she gone mad?  I saw the new release of Forever Friends Spring Time over Christmas and the rest they say is history, just had to have a play.  This is a tiny little card, 3.5" square infact and I have stamped directly onto the card base and coloured using good old Promarkers.  The bunting goes all the way round the back too.  Really cute don't you think?  Not much else to say really as it is so simple apart from the photograph doesn't really do it any justice.  Anyways all you need to know is that the Forever Friends Easter collection is available in all good craft shops but I did buy mine from Grafton Crafts, free (great) delivery and a good price, no connection just a very satisfied customer.

Take care, bye for now, Jane x

Daughters Christmas ...

Just wanted to share with you the card I made for my daughter this Christmas, I couldn't post it earlier as I knew she would view my blog and see it!  On another note being a fairly new blogger my last few posts have been on a schedule so I do hope it is all going to plan and my posts are making sense???  As I type this all my family are at home, cooking a roast dinner and enjoying time together but when this posts both my husband and son will be at work and my daughter will have gone back to school so it will be just me and the dog, where did the Christmas holidays go???
---
I just loved the release from Sjs Little Musings of a set of 6 angels and I knew that they would be just perfect for my daughter and also I wanted to use something that she hadn't already seen or hadn't been used for someone else, something more personal for her.  She loves all my creations and makes her own for friends and family so she really appreciates the time and effort that goes into each one.  Also makes it harder each time to come up with something so special!!!
---
Another Anitas square card blank, Summertime Designs backing paper and some pearlised cream cardstock from Payperbox at my local craft shop.  Tim Holtz distress ink for edging and the image was a digi and coloured with Promarkers.  I have decoupaged my little angel in four layers to give her some depth.  Stickles glitter for her wings, the sentiment was computer generated.  Flowers and pin from Wild Orchid Crafts, gems for her halo are Papermania and finally my faithfull branch punch from Martha Stewart.

Take care fellow bloggers, Jane x

Toby Tumble ...

Isn't he a cutie, couldn't resist him.  I have been playing about with Toby Tumble from Cuddly Buddly Crafts and he has been an absolute joy to colour.  This particular card I have decoupaged five layers to make him stand out.  I made this card before my new stitching tool so this one has been marked and stitched by hand.  As I have layered him I have kept the rest of the card simple so that Toby remains the main feature.
---
Another square card blank from Anitas, red cardstock from a Payperbox and Rymans white cardstock for the digi image. The 'Toby Tumble' collection come in stamps, digi images and decoupage.  Coloured using the fabulous Promarkers and the sentiment is a sticker from Papermania I think?  A little bit of Stickles crystal glitter for the bumble bee trail.

Soooo many crafting goodies for Christmas, so little time but I hope to be back again soon.
Take care, Jane x

Happy New Year .....

First of all I would like to wish all my followers and fellow bloggers a very happy & crafty new year, thank you all so very much for all your lovely comments during 2010, I really appreciate them and I hope you will continue to support me in 2011.
---
As per my previous post 'Mr & Mrs' well the wedding was brilliant, food was great and a good COLD day was had by all and my MIL and her new husband Steve are settling into married life together.
---
Today I have my 'Thank You' cards for all those fabby Christmas presents received, so I have made
a batch of this design.  My daughter received a wonderful (shop brought) Christmas card with a canopy over a Christmas window and instantly I knew I was going to use it for this stamp which was amongst my prize from Sugar Nellie.  Although it appears a simply design it has taken some time to produce a batch but I couldn't resist hand stitching which seems to be my bag just now!
---
Well I have used Rymans white card stock to stamp the image using Momento ink and Promarkers.  The buff card is also Rymans.  The canopy was cut using my daughters Christmas card as a template and I have used Pink Petticoats paper for this.  The sentiment has been computer generated, fnally the flower and branch are mini Papermani punches that I also won in the National Cardmaker of the year 2010.  To finish a little Papermania pink gem.
---
Treated myself to some craft goodies with my Christmas money so off to have a play.  Easter stamps (organised or what) and a We R Memory Keepers So Easy tool so I don't have to measure and mark out my sewing anymore, watch this space!

Thanks for popping by, take care, Jane x
