YOU ARE Magical ...

Another watercolor background for you. still need more practice & I think more patience ha ha.
This stamp is called 'A Fish Kisses Tilda' from the 'You're invited' Collection just released which
was part of the Christmas Advent 2017 Box which I was very lucky Father Christmas sent to me.

I have coloured her with Promarkers, cut some weed and vellum waves on my Silhouette,
sequins, sentiment and some glossy accents & of course hand stitching to finish.

Thanks so very much ...

Well I have been playing with water colour backgrounds, most didn't make the grade but a couple I was kinda pleased with, including this one.  More practice me thinks, something a bit different from my norm.

I have used the gorgeous stamp set titled;  Stinkin Cute from Lawn Fawn which includes the
skunk, flower & heart among other little bits & bobs, so much fun, along with the Scripty Thanks also from Lawn Fawn which I have layered up several times for the depth.   Vellum, sequins, gem for the centre of the flower, hand stitched to finish.  Of course coloured with Promarkers.

Fintastic Birthday ...

Another shaker card (front view) to share with you today, treated myself to a few goodies at LOTV & their half price sale recently.  Thought I would give these little critters a go & super fun to colour.
The reflection of the camera has made it look like it really full of water!

I wanted the sand to stay at the bottom so I cut a shaker to suit but as you can see I have a gap
where the sand has escaped a little with all my shaking!
This is the inside view.

The fish food has been cut on my Silhouette.
Sand is from Porto Santo, fabulous colour & happy memories.
Front sentiment is CG but the 'make a splash' is part of the collection.
Fabulous rubber too, good quality.
Coloured with Promarkers & pencils.  Hand stitched, dew drops & accents.

Joy ... to the world

Well I have gone for an elegant simple understated look for this Christmas card, makes a change & I am really pleased with the result, a pleasure to make too.

I have used the 'Softly Falling' embossing folder from Stampin Up.  Several different snowflake dies, the 'Joy' die is also from Stampin Up and part of the 'Wonderful Wreath Framelit dies (135851) and was cut from Crafters Companion Glitter luxury card along with the Mirror Luxury card.
A couple of vellum snowflakes & a few of acetate snowflakes cut on my Silhouette as they
didn't cut very well on my Big Shot.  Not forgetting some hand stitching, well it wouldn't be me would it.  Gems & sequins to finish.

Sending Heaps of Holiday Wishes ...

Today I have been playing with this gorgeous Stamp from Art Impressions titled 'Penguin Stacker' it is soooo cute. I ordered it in the January sales online but it never appeared until July?  Good job I wasn't in a rush for it, ha ha.  Nice & simple again today as I wanted the image to speak for itself.
I have coloured with Promarkers, snowflakes, Nitwit papers & hand stitched once again.

Seasons Greetings ...

Loving this stamp, great for the guys this Christmas.
No shaker this time, so more post friendly, CAS.
Nitwit papers, white ribbon, snowflake, Promarkers & hand stitched, I have been busy!

Thanks for visiting my blog over 2017 despite fewer posts, I really appreciate it and all the
lovely comments and the chances to enter challenges, thanks.

Merry Christmas ...

For the first time ever I decided to make a batch of general Christmas cards rather than individual makes.  As soon as I saw these free stamps among those in Issue 49 of Creative Stamping I knew
exactly what I was going to make.  Gold heat embossing and a lot of hand stitching later I had
over 50 Christmas Cards.  All posted and very well received, I was delighted with the outcome.  Even managed to get them printed in the next issue of Creative Stamping (50) on the readers letters page!

At Christmas all roads lead home ...

Long time no see once again, I am here honest, time doesn't seem to be on my side.
Down the final family Christmas cards now!
I purchased this stamp early in January ready to play this Christmas, great for male cards me thinks.
So it is a snow globe shaker on the front and a picture of the inside below.

Cut on my Silhouette, hand stitched, coloured with Promarkers, charm & bell and some
red organza ribbon.  The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

Under the weather ...

I am back, long time no see, soz.
Just busy busy, living life and I lost my mojo ha ha!
Mojo well and truly found after receiving the 13 Nights of Halloween from Magnolia,
couldn't wait to play and here is the result.

Today I am sharing a 'box in a card' using the gorgeous new goodies from Magnolia.
So Tilda is under the weather, so I have put together a box of goodies to cheer her up!

Inside the top is a pocket for some sachets of honey & lemon or maybe some hot chocolate.
Then the box beneath has room for some more treats, but also contains a little shaker element, get well sentiment, a plaster, blister strip and the little hearts (tablets) as the confetti.

I have used Tilda stamp, both sentiment stamps, heart beat die, plaster die, blister strip die & cross die from the Doohickey 13 nights of Halloween  which will be coming out for general release very soon.

The heart flourish (Doohickey Box 3/Oh La La), tree & fronds (Doohickey Box 16/Fall in Love), sun (Doohickey Box 10/Buzz Buzz), clouds (Doohickey Box 13/Sweet Pea) dies.
Coloured with Promarkers, pink organza ribbon, umbrella charm & completely hand stitched.
I have mat & layered the elements on my Silhouette Cameo.
Finished off with some bandage in a bow.

Wishing you TONS OF FUN ...

Well I am using the gorgeous MFT 'Happy Hippos' again for this birthday card, one of the little birds
inside the shaker, combined with the sentiment, silver heat embossed from the MFT 'Adorable Elephants', love these images.
Nice & Simple really, cut on my Silhouette, coloured with Promarkers, hand stitched (as always), white ribbon, star charm, sequins & coloured cardstock from my stash.
